Litigation Mindset II

We continue with the series of three videos where John tells us the importance of separating our feelings from the legal process. This time he talks about the difficult process of divorce.

Divorce litigation is filled with emotion, emotion, and emotion.

And now you get into the litigation arena and you're expected to suddenly turn that emotional off, and just solve problems and create solutions based on facts.

It's not an easy thing to do, but each of us must remember that the emotion is not the thing that's going to create the solution. Sticking the facts and coming up with solutions that are factual-based or what we call legally sufficient facts are the way to go in order to make sure that you do not overly spend, overly litigate and create additional trauma for yourself during litigation.

Remember "legally sufficient" facts are the things that are important and not the emotion.
